QC Laboratory Technician

Entry Level | Lab Environment | Excellent Benefits

This is a very rare opportunity to work in the brewing industry with both chemistry and microbiology techniques!

Job Description

Join a dynamic team dedicated to ensuring food safety and quality through rigorous laboratory and production support functions. As a QC Lab Technician, you will perform microbiological and analytical testing to support our Pre-Operation sanitation and HACCP program, ensuring the highest standards of product quality and safety.

Responsibilities

Perform microbiological analysis.

Analyze Titratable Acidity and perform HPLC.

Ensure the accuracy and calibration of measuring devices.

Accurately document and record results from product analyses.

Complete and review batching sheets, ingredient labels, specs, and regulatory documents.

Communicate with batching, production, and sanitation teams to review specifications and support quality assurance functions.

Pull finished goods samples for analytical and customer testing.

Conduct QA Line Checks every 4 hours, reviewing GMPs and adherence to food safety standards.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

AA or BA/BS degree in a scientific discipline

HS Diploma and +1-2 years of experience may also qualify

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Monticello, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
