Part-Time Administrative Assistant

Description

Our client, a mission-driven nonprofit/education organization, is seeking a Part-Time Administrative Assistant to support daily office operations and help keep internal processes running smoothly. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing a variety of administrative tasks in a collaborative environment. The schedule would start off as Monday-Friday 9am-1pm or 8:30AM-1:30PM 4 days a week. This is a contract opportunity for 3-6 months with the potential for hire and additional hours.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide general administrative support to staff and leadership

Answer phones, respond to emails, and greet visitors professionally

Schedule meetings, manage calendars, and coordinate appointments

Prepare documents, reports, correspondence, and presentation materials

Maintain filing systems, records, and databases

Order office supplies and help manage office organization

Assist with event coordination, donor/student communications, or departmental projects

Support data entry and tracking for programs, budgets, or enrollment as needed

Requirements

Qualifications:

1+ years of administrative support experience

Experience in a nonprofit, school, college, or mission-driven organization preferred

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel

Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills

Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality

High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred
