Duties Description Under the direction of the Park Manager and Office Manager, the selected candidate will perform the following duties which include but are limited to: - Greet visitors in a friendly and outgoing manner.- Communicate with patrons over the phone and in person about the park and partners in the park. - Provide directions and information to the public as needed- Conduct the sale of park merchandise at our gift shop- Communicate with staff when guests arrive- Be aware of the meeting schedule and help prepare rooms for meetings. - Responsible for maintaining a clean greeters desk.- Ensure all stationary is up to date and stocked. - Performing other related duties as assigned. - Assist with concert parking and fee collection duties.

Additional Comments OPERATIONAL NEEDS: - Must be able to communicate effectively with other staff and park patrons in a responsible and courteous manner.- Must possess strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently, as well as with others.- Ability to communicate in writing and to read and comprehend written material. Must be capable of doing basic math such as add, subtract, multiply, and divide.- Possessing a valid driver's license is encouraged but not required.BENEFITS:This position has the option to join the NYS Employee's Retirement System and is eligible for health insurance, dental and vision coverage.
