High-visibility accounting role with leadership exposure

Robert Half has partnered with a well-established organization to hire a Lead Senior Accountant to join its accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who is ready to take on a broader role with greater ownership, visibility, and impact. This position is ideal for someone who has a strong foundation in general ledger accounting, reconciliations, financial statement support, and multi-entity accounting, and who is ready to step into a lead-level role with increased responsibility in month-end close, reporting, budgeting, and process improvement. Position Overview

This Senior Accountant will play a key role in the preparation, review, analysis, and adjustment of financial statements. In addition to owning core accounting functions, this person will help support month-end and year-end close, budgeting, account analysis, and process consistency across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Lead monthly and periodic reconciliations across multiple entities and accounts

Prepare and review daily cash reports and cash balance activity

Support the preparation of monthly financial statements, account analyses, and adjusting entries

Reconcile general ledger activity and ensure accuracy across multiple balance sheet and income statement accounts

Support budgeting and forecast preparation

Assist with year-end close, audit support, and preparation of work papers

Help identify process improvements and strengthen consistency in accounting workflows and reconciliations

Serve as a resource to other staff and assist with reviewing work or answering day-to-day accounting questions as needed

Partner with accounting leadership on special projects and ad hoc reporting

Requirements

BA/BS or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or Economics

5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or corporate accounting

Previous supervisory oversight

Strong familiarity with balance sheet account reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger management

Ability to manage deadlines, prioritize effectively, and work independently

Must possess strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy

Professional communication skills and a collaborative approach

Microsoft Excel proficiency is a necessity
