As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Credential Verification in Balch Springs, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and respond professionally to evolving situations. You will provide exceptional customer service and communication while working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and committed to integrity.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols of banking facilities, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures, maintaining a professional presence while handling sensitive financial institution operations.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using appropriate armed response protocols and promptly reporting activity to designated personnel.

Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required documentation related to patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

Have at least two years of security-related experience.

Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.

Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.

Have access control and/or badge experience, preferred.

Possess CPR and/or First Aid certification, preferred.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
