Job Duties:Essential Duties of an Administrative Assistant III include: Providing advanced administrative support, including preparing correspondence, reports, presentations, and maintaining accurate records.Managing calendars, scheduling meetings, coordinating appointments, and assisting with travel arrangements.Serving as a primary point of contact for internal staff, external partners, and the public, handling inquiries with professionalism and confidentiality.Processing and maintaining departmental documents, files, and data while ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures.Assisting with budget monitoring, purchasing requests, and tracking expenditures.Coordinating departmental projects, deadlines, and workflows to support management and team operations.Reviewing documents for accuracy and completeness, and supporting the preparation of materials for audits, reviews, and reporting needs.Exercising independent judgment in completing tasks and resolving administrative issues.Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail.Proficiency in office software (Microsoft Office Suite, document management systems, etc.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong problem solving skills and initiative in resolving administrative challenges.Ability to manage sensitive information with confidentiality and accuracy.Customer service skills and the ability to interact effectively with diverse groups.You'd be a GOOD fit if:The skills to coordinate with staff, officials, agencies, and the public.Skill to @type 45 words per minute (with no more than 10 errors) preferred.Knowledge of business terminology, spelling, punctuation, and grammar.You'd be a GREAT fit if: You can adapt quickly to new processes, guidelines, and systems.
