Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Design,build,andsupport cloud infrastructure solutionsacross AWS and/or Azure environments.

Develop,maintain,andoptimize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform andadditionalconfigurationmanagementtools.

Createautomationsolutionsandoperationaltoolingusing Python toimproveplatformefficiencyandreliability.

Implement Policy-as-Code andcompliancevalidationpracticesusing Checkov andcloudgovernanceframeworks.

Build,maintain,andenhance CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket .

Troubleshootandresolvecomplexinfrastructure,platform,andproductionissuesusing Well-Architected Framework bestpractices.

Drive platform reliability, operational excellence, documentationstandards,andcontinuousimprovementinitiatives.

Collaboratewithengineering,security,andplatformteamstodeliverscalable,secure,andhighlyavailablecloudsolutions.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

Five to six years of relevant experience

Required Skills &Experience

Stronghands-onexperiencewith AWS or Azure ,includingcompute,storage,networking,andcloudplatformservices.

Advancedexpertisein Terraform forinfrastructureprovisioning,automation,andlifecyclemanagement.

Proficiencyin Python scriptingandautomationforcloudoperationsandplatformengineering.

ExperiencewithatleastoneadditionalIaC/configurationtoolsuchas Ansible, CloudFormation, Pulumi, Bicep, ARM, Chef, or Puppet .

Hands-onexperienceimplementing Checkov , Policy-as-Code ,governancecontrols,andcomplianceautomation.

Experiencebuildingandsupporting CI/CD pipelines in GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket environments.

Strongtroubleshooting,debugging,incidentresponse,androotcauseanalysisskillsacrosscloudandplatformenvironments.

Knowledgeof Well-Architected principles ,securitybestpractices,observabilityplatforms( Datadog preferred ),costoptimization,andmulti-environmentdeploymentstrategies.

Location expectations

This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $119,765.00 - $140,900.00
