Position Overview

Developing highly effective marketing campaigns. Brilliantly targeting ideal customers. Making it all happen on time and under budget. That's just a day in the career of the Marketing Manager.

We are seeking a marketing leader who understands the ins and outs of marketing strategy, analysis, campaign execution and staff management - all while keeping tight control over the bottom line. Part analyst, part strategist and part manager, this professional will create and implement strategies, tactics, campaigns and brand messaging. The incumbent will lead the charge for the marketing team and must bring a healthy mix of skill, management experience and initiative to the company. In this position, you will write, produce, coordinate, and maintain the materials required to successfully penetrate and expand our market share across multiple channels and vertical markets.

Essential Functions

Lead the development of our marketing plans working closely with clients, management, creative and content teams, and partners, to create a results driven marketing strategy focused on growing audiences and market share for our products.

Based on market research, develop and implement plans and strategies, product concepts, and promotional programs to drive lead generation and sales

Develop and implement marketing plans, including promotional calendars and programs, new product introductions and other marketing projects

Develop and manage marketing budgets and sales forecasting

Conduct customer, brand and product research initiatives

Overseeing social media strategy and content marketing.

Negotiate with media partners to guarantee advantageous contracts

Oversee the operation of the company's website, email marketing, and other digital assets and analytics to deliver document

Maintains knowledge on emerging products and services.

Collaborates with senior executives to develop growth plans for the organization.

Organizing company conferences, trade shows, and major events.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Oversees the entire trade show program, including selecting which events to attend.

Manages vendor relationships, contracts, and logistics.

Coordinates booth setup, shipping, materials, and promotional items.

Ensures travel arrangements, registrations, and schedules are in place.

May assist with lead tracking and post-show follow-ups.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Understanding and developing budgets and finance, including expenditures, research and development appropriations, return-on-investment and profit-loss projections.

Thorough understanding of market development, strategies, and best practices.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong supervisory and leadership skills.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Responsible for the retention and performance of direct and indirect marketing team members

Manage agency providers, consultants, freelancers and other suppliers, including contract negotiation and management

Oversees the daily workflow of the department.

Education and Experience:

At least five years of experience in marketing leadership roles and long-range planning required

Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field.

Demonstrated experience with digital and print marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing

Proficiency with MS Office applications, HTML, content management systems, and design software

Work Environment & Physical Demands

On site

Periodic overnight travel for trade shows, events, and similar client development activities.

Regularly required communicate with others over the phone, in person, or through email and messaging. The employee must be able to hear customers and agents over the phone.

The employee is frequently required to sit, stand; walk, and use their hands and fingers to work with the computer, phones, filing cabinets, paperwork, etc.

Physical ability to lift up to 45 lbs., set up/ break down trade show displays, and similar activities.

Must be willing to travel and attend up to 20 trade shows per year, managing event logistics, booth setup, and marketing execution on-site.
