Electrical Assembler

Position Overview**
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Assembler to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. In this role, you will assemble, wire, test, and install electrical components and control systems using engineering drawings, schematics, and blueprints. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with at least two years of electrical assembly experience who enjoy hands-on work and want to continue developing their technical skills.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble electrical systems, control panels, and components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
Perform wiring, wire termination, and component installation, including cutting, stripping, crimping, and connecting wires.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
Build, wire, and troubleshoot control panels and electrical assemblies.
Install and bend conduit for proper wire routing and protection.
Fit, test, and calibrate electrical and mechanical components to required tolerances.
Use hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, drills, impacts, and grinders safely and effectively.
Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, scissor lifts, and mobile cranes to position assemblies.
Conduct quality checks to ensure assemblies meet company and customer specifications.
Work independently and as part of a team to meet production schedules and quality standards.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of electrical assembly experience in a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment.
Experience with wire termination, electrical wiring, and component installation.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
Experience assembling and wiring control panels.
Knowledge of conduit bending and installation techniques.
Proficiency with common hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical assembly tasks throughout the shift.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with industrial machinery, electrical systems, or automation equipment.
Troubleshooting and testing experience.
Familiarity with material handling equipment and overhead lifting devices.
Experience in a high-volume manufacturing or production environment.

Work Environment
This position is based in an industrial manufacturing facility where employees work around production equipment and machinery. The role requires frequent standing, lifting, assembly work, and the use of hand and power tools. Safety is a top priority, and all required PPE is provided.
Available Shifts
Day Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Night Shift: 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.50 - $28.50/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
