As a Security Officer - Hotel Patrol in San Antonio, TX , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $15.39 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time

Sat10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Sun10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

How This Role Works:

Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.

Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of guest areas, entrances, parking areas, recreational spaces, and the property perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.

Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols.

Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the resort location, documenting incidents and completing required reports.

Communicate with hotel personnel, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related concerns and operational needs.

Minimum Requirements:

Customer service experience is preferred.

The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
