LOCATION: This is a field-based sales position serving colleges and universities with nursing programs across a defined geographic territory. The successful candidate will work from a home office and should live in or the state of Alabama to support regular in-person customer visits throughout the territory.
OVERVIEW
As an Account & Relationship Management Executive in Nursing Education, you will serve as a trusted partner to nursing faculty, program directors, deans, and other academic leaders at colleges and universities across your territory. Through a consultative sales approach, you will learn each program's priorities and challenges, then position Wolters Kluwer's evidence-based nursing education solutions to help improve teaching, student learning, clinical judgment, NCLEX readiness, and preparation for practice.
You will represent Wolters Kluwer (Lippincott) course and program solutions. You will build relationships across nursing programs, identify new opportunities, expand existing partnerships, and guide customers through the full sales process-from discovery and solution alignment through commitment and implementation.
You will own a territory of accounts and develop a strategic plan to achieve growth by balancing prospecting, account management, product demonstrations, and ongoing customer engagement. Supported by a Regional Sales Manager who will coach and develop you, you will play an important role in advancing Wolters Kluwer's leadership in nursing education while building a rewarding career with uncapped earning potential.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and maintain a sales pipeline of opportunities to achieve sales objectives via prospecting and account management
Develop sales strategy for prospects and assigned accounts and successfully manage deals through the sales cycle
Communicate with customers with regard to any account problems and discuss customer concerns and suggestions
Negotiate service and product terms with customers
Report suggestions to and develop solutions with sales, order processing, and customer support team
Handle add-on sales for clients
Use the customer relationship management (CRM) system Salesforce to process, track, and organize client information.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant experience
Experience: 3+ years working in Account Management, Sales, or other equivalent experience
Understanding of business, financials, products & services, and the market, preferably with a reputation for providing a level of expert knowledge within your industry
Excellent communication (both written & oral) and presentation skills

Compensation:
$71,300.00 - $124,500.00 USD
This role is eligible for Commission.
Compensation range listed is based on primary location of the position. Actual base salary offer is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skills, experience and actual hiring location.
