As a Security Officer Warehouse Site Inspections in Markham, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment through exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.

Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, loading areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.

Monitor access control points, visitor activity, and security-related systems, reporting irregularities, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific emergency response procedures.

Prepare clear and accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and shift activity documentation while maintaining professional communication with Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
