Mechanical Maintenance Worker - Inteplast Group | Lolita, TX
Spiretek International Inc. is seeking a dependable Mechanical Maintenance Worker to work at Inteplast Group in Lolita, TX. This position is responsible for assisting with the maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and safe operation of mechanical equipment used in a manufacturing environment.
Job Duties:
Perform preventive and routine maintenance on production and mechanical equipment.
Assist with troubleshooting and repairing mechanical equipment and machinery.
Inspect equipment to identify worn, damaged, or malfunctioning components.
Repair or replace mechanical parts such as bearings, belts, chains, rollers, gears, and other components as needed.
Assist with equipment installation, adjustments, and mechanical repairs.
Use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely and properly.
Lubricate, clean, and service machinery according to maintenance requirements.
Respond to equipment breakdowns and assist with returning machinery to safe operating condition.
Communicate equipment problems and repair needs to supervisors and maintenance personnel.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), PPE, and all plant safety procedures.
Complete maintenance documentation as required.
Perform additional mechanical maintenance duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Previous mechanical, industrial maintenance, or manufacturing maintenance experience preferred.
Basic mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills preferred.
Familiarity with hand and power tools.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Must be safety-conscious and aware of surrounding equipment and personnel.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, reach, push, pull, and lift materials as required.
Must be dependable and maintain regular attendance.
Must be able to work independently and as part of a maintenance team.
Must comply with all safety, PPE, and Lockout/Tagout requirements.
Must be available to work assigned shifts, including overtime, weekends, or holidays when scheduled.
