Job Summary and Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

Education: Required -Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology, Biological, Chemical or Physical Science. Nursing Degree will be considered with the required CLIA acceptable courses.

Preferred -Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or Laboratory Science

Licensure/Certifications: Required-Successful completion of registry within 12 months of hire for anyone with a hire date on or after 1.1.2005. Continuing education to maintain registry/licensure as required. AMT and ASCP accepted.

Acceptable - Registry/Licensure in a specialty area will be considered.

Preferred-ASCP/ AMT/NCA/HEW. Continuing education to maintain registry/licensure as required.

Experience: Preferred - experience as a Medical Technologist/ Medical Lab Scientist
