Description
GENERAL FUNCTION:
Manage assigned marketing campaigns, including execution of campaign strategies, day-to-day campaign management details, advertising displays and channels, budget allocation guidelines, continuity and completion efforts, etc. Support Marking team initiatives and strategies. Produce appropriate and accurate reports and information as required.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Marketing Campaigns and Strategy
Develop and pitch ideas for new growth and retention campaigns, based on general knowledge, business goals, and past campaign performance.
Content Development
Develop and coordinate content that helps connect the bank with both customers and non-customers and improves brand awareness and reputation.
Assist in managing digital content, such as developing new website pages, or email content, posting new blogs, and implementing blog revisions based on guidance from the team with the goals of driving website traffic, optimizing pages for conversion, and customer communications.
Coordinate with off-site graphic designers to create marketing collateral for emails, social media, and digital advertising.
Project Administration
Regularly assess and adjust paid advertising campaigns to optimize for performance based on goals set forth by leadership.
Review, verify, and submit invoices and updates timely to ensure payment and continuous workflow.
Create and verify reports and frequent communication on marketing KPIs as assigned.
Actively manage and prioritize marketing requests
Communicate campaign status updates in an effective and professional manner.
Compliance
Review the Bank's information security guidelines regularly and avoid activity that could expose the Bank to malware, scams, and fraud. Follow all guidelines for securing your accounts, access, systems, and information. Be proactive in identifying threats to information security and relay concerns to the information security team.
Diligently protect confidential information and assist the Bank in ensuring that all confidential and sensitive information is handled appropriately.
Maintain an active awareness and understanding of policies, procedures, designated authorities, regulations, and laws, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering Act, Red Flags, Consumer Privacy, Fair Lending, other applicable lending laws, etc. Follow these at all times.
Communicate openly with supervisors and other management about policies, procedures, work conduct, and job functions. Ask questions to clarify any uncertainty when issues arise.
Address with your supervisor questions about suspected violations of policy and procedure, and other laws and guidelines, as outlined in the Code of Conduct, including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering Act, lending laws, etc.
Participate in training sessions and policy updates as necessary. Assist with coordination of scheduling as appropriate.

Work scheduled and other needed hours at the designated location(s).
Assist Management with scheduling and other issues as directed.

Qualifications
Requirements
Required: Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field, or equivalent relevant experience
Required: Marketing, communications, social media, digital advertising, content, or related experience sufficient for the applicable Marketing Strategist level
Preferred: Financial services marketing experience
Preferred: Understanding of key marketing metrics and terminology
Preferred: Project management and proven problem-solving skills
Preferred: Campaign planning experience

Distinction of Duties
Entry/developing level position focused on learning the Marketing Strategist role and reliably supporting assigned marketing campaigns, content development, social media, website updates, digital advertising, reporting, invoice processing, and related project administration. Works under regular guidance while building knowledge of campaign strategy, brand standards, marketing channels, systems, vendor processes, budget guidelines, and compliance expectations. Demonstrates professionalism, accuracy, responsiveness, creativity, and strong service to internal and external customers.
Experienced/intermediate level position that independently manages routine marketing campaigns, content requests, social media coordination, website updates, email campaigns, paid digital advertising adjustments, reporting, invoices, and day-to-day project details with limited guidance. Applies working knowledge of marketing strategy, campaign performance, digital channels, collateral development, brand reputation, budget allocation guidelines, vendor coordination, and Bank compliance expectations to support timely, accurate, and effective marketing execution.
Advanced experience level position that serves as a highly knowledgeable resource for complex marketing campaigns, strategic recommendations, content initiatives, paid digital advertising optimization, email campaigns, website improvements, collateral coordination, analytics, reporting, budget-related guidance, and project workflow. Works with substantial independence, anticipates issues, evaluates campaign results, recommends improvements, assists with unusual or escalated marketing needs, supports team initiatives, and helps guide or train other Team Members while maintaining brand, compliance, and service standards.
Required
Bachelor's degree in marketing or equivalent relevant experience
1-2 years' experience relevant to the position such as marketing, communications, social media, digital advertising, content, or related experience sufficient to learn assigned duties;
Ability to follow established marketing plans, brand standards, policies, procedures, budget guidelines, and compliance requirements;
Strong written communication, organization, accuracy, and customer service skills.
Meets requirements of Marketing Strategist 1; AND
At least three (3) years of marketing, communications, digital advertising, social media, content development, or related experience;
Working understanding of campaign execution, social media content, website updates, digital advertising performance, reporting, knowledge of analytics platforms, and collateral coordination;
Ability to independently manage routine campaign details, content requests, invoices, reports, and vendor or internal coordination.
Meets requirements of Marketing Strategist 2; AND
At least five (5) years of marketing, communications, digital advertising, social media, content development, or related experience;
Advanced knowledge of campaign strategy, brand management, digital advertising optimization, analytics, reporting, website content, collateral coordination, and compliance expectations;
Ability to handle complex campaigns, escalated requests, budget-related guidance, and project workflow independently.
Preferred

1-2 years of marketing, communications, customer service, banking, or related experience
Basic experience with social media, website content, email marketing, digital advertising, or marketing collateral

5-7 years of progressive marketing, communications, digital advertising, social media, content development, or related experience;
Experience leading or substantially coordinating multi-channel campaigns;
Advanced experience with campaign performance analysis, paid digital advertising optimization, website content, and brand reputation initiatives;
Demonstrated ability to mentor others and serve as a resource for complex marketing projects, escalated requests, and process improvements.
