You will be a Software Engineer on our team at Lockheed Martin. What You Will Be Doing
As a Software Engineer, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Develop and maintain embedded software applications and/or desktop applications.
Tasks will involve requirements, design, code, testing, and integrating software for an embedded multi-core system as well as desktop computer applications for emulation of sensors and countermeasures.
The successful candidate will have training in C/C++, prior experience in GUI development, and experience with Linux OS.

Basic Qualifications
Must have a Bachelor's degree AND have between (0-2) years of post-grad relevant work experience OR must be pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related software discipline.
Experience with C++ Experience working Operating systems / familiarity with OS concepts. This may include: Linux, Windows, Unix, VxWorks, Operating Systems Coursework, etc.
US Citizenship is required.
Desired Skills
Hardware experience (Arduino, STMxx, Xilinx, any FPGA Programmable Software.
Strong understanding of C++ Object Oriented design and inheritance concepts.
Understanding of basic multi-threading concepts.
Working with a large code base.
DevSecOps tool chain experience or configuration management tools (this may include Git, GitHub, BitBucket).
Software configuration management.
Full software life-cycle development
Software integration and debugging techniques.
Demonstrated software development experience in C / Python.
Familiarity with Agile practices.
Prior embedded internships is a bonus, but not required.
Familiarity with Modular Open Systems Architecture (MOSA) design concepts.
Familiarity with containerized development and deployment environments
Familiarity with Data distribution service (DDS)
Familiarity with Yocto OS development
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $81100.00 - $150500.00

For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
