As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will assist visitors and staff with professionalism, provide clear communication, and support a welcoming environment. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.34 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time

Fri05:00 PM - 09:30 PM

Sun12:30 PM - 06:30 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a government location.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and emergency response activities when appropriate.

Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures; report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.

Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and other documentation accurately and promptly.

Minimum Requirements:

CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
