Description We are looking for a dependable Receptionist to support daily front office operations in Sunnyvale, California. This Contract position is ideal for someone who enjoys creating a strong first impression, keeping the workplace organized, and providing responsive administrative assistance in a fast-paced IT software environment. The right candidate will bring strong communication skills, sound judgment, and a proactive approach to supporting employees, visitors, and onsite activities.

Responsibilities:

Welcome visitors, applicants, and other guests while providing a courteous and efficient front desk experience.

Oversee reception area operations to ensure the space remains orderly, presentable, and ready for daily business activity.

Handle visitor registration, badge coordination, and onsite access procedures in alignment with office security expectations.

Arrange meeting spaces for interviews and business discussions, including scheduling support and room readiness.

Process incoming and outgoing mail, shipments, and deliveries while helping ensure timely distribution.

Provide administrative assistance through calendar coordination, meeting logistics, and accurate data entry.

Work closely with staff, service providers, and building contacts to support a smooth and positive office environment.

Monitor and replenish office materials and front desk supplies to maintain uninterrupted daily operations.

Answer and direct inbound calls using a multi-line phone system with efficiency and courtesy. Requirements - At least 2 years of experience in a receptionist or front desk position, ideally within a corporate or technology-focused office.

Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer-focused approach to service.

Confidence interacting with leaders, coworkers, vendors, and external visitors in a detail-focused setting.

Excellent organizational ability and careful attention to detail when managing concurrent tasks.

Comfort working in a fast-moving environment while balancing changing priorities effectively.

Working knowledge of Google Workspace, including Gmail, Calendar, Docs, and Sheets, along with Microsoft Office.

Dependable, proactive, and collaborative work style with the ability to contribute positively to the team.

Availability to work onsite in Sunnyvale, California from Monday through Friday. TalentMatch®
