Warehouse Driver / Order Selector

Job Description

This is a hybrid position that combines local box truck driving (60%) with warehouse operations (40%) , offering variety in your day and the opportunity to be part of a close-knit team.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-4:00 PM

No overnight travel. Local deliveries only.

What You'll Do

Make local deliveries of construction supplies using a company box truck.

Load and unload materials using a sit-down forklift and manual handling when needed.

Follow delivery routes and schedules to ensure on-time deliveries.

Complete daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance concerns.

Maintain delivery paperwork and obtain customer signatures.

Pick, pack, and stage customer orders accurately.

Receive, stock, and organize incoming inventory.

Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse.

What We're Looking For

Experience driving a box truck or similar delivery vehicle preferred.

Warehouse, shipping/receiving, order picking, or inventory experience is a plus.

Forklift experience preferred (we may be willing to train the right candidate).

Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to customer service.

Good driving record.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Virginia Beach, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
