Mechanical Engineer

This role is primarily focused on product release, engineering documentation, and sustaining engineering activities. The ideal candidate will support the transition of designs into production while maintaining and improving existing products and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

Create and release production drawings

Update and revise existing CAD models

Generate and maintain engineering documentation

Develop assembly procedures and work instructions

Develop test procedures and documentation

Implement engineering change orders (ECOs)

Provide manufacturing engineering support

Create and maintain product release packages

Manage design revisions and configuration updates

Support future structural analysis efforts

Products Supported

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with product release and engineering change processes

Manufacturing engineering background

Structural analysis experience

Proficiency with Ansys

Additional Desired Experience

Carbon fiber composites and composite structures

Aerospace industry experience

Battery systems

Electric propulsion systems

Sheet metal manufacturing

CNC machining

Milled aluminum components

Titanium components

Mechanical assemblies

Production manufacturing environments

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Everett, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $44.00 - $65.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
