Standard Job Description

As a Reliability Availability and Maintainability Program (RAMP) Project Engineer, you'll drive performance of F-22 Sustainment initiatives, ensuring mission-critical aircraft remain safe, dependable, and ready for any challenge. You will lead the execution of reliability and maintainability analyses, test plans, and improvement actions to keep the F-22 fleet flying at peak performance.

Your responsibilities will include:

Lead multi-disciplinary teams in the planning, integration and execution of RAMP engineering projects to collectively drive continuous improvement across the F-22 sustainment life-cycle

Develop and maintain a baseline plan, track progress against milestones, manage overall cost and schedule performance, and present status to both executive internal and customer leadership for each project

Ensure project compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications

Plan and facilitate regular reviews and issue-resolution sessions to resolve engineering design and test problems, drive execution, and mitigate risks and delays

Manage supplier technical development and engineering integration activities

** Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications**

Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, or a related STEM field

8+ years of engineering and/or project management experience on aerospace or defense programs

Experience effectively communicating status and challenges to multi-disciplined engineering teams, senior executives, and external customers

Willing to travel up to 10%

Final SECRET Security Clearance

Desired Skills

Familiarity with USAF modification program requirements to include documentation, TCTOs, kits, tooling, and special test equipment

Experience with F-22 sustainment teams and processes to include engineering assistance requests and inspection requirements

Working knowledge of systems engineering processes and vehicle/avionics systems and their operation

Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM), Control Account Manager (CAM) tools and processes, and Risk & Opportunity Management

Demonstrated leadership, accountability, and problem solving skills

Experience working in classified environments

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $129000.00 - $239600.00

For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
