Description We are looking for a Legal Assistant to join a legal team in Raleigh, North Carolina on a Contract basis. This onsite role supports labor and employment litigation matters by helping attorneys stay organized, preparing case materials for filing and production, and managing key administrative tasks. The position is well suited for someone who is comfortable in a fast-paced law firm environment and can handle multiple priorities with accuracy and professionalism.

Responsibilities:

Support a group of attorneys with day-to-day litigation assistance, ensuring deadlines, case materials, and administrative needs are handled efficiently.

Prepare, revise, and format legal documents so they meet court, client, and firm standards.

Compile and organize tables of authorities and other filing components for litigation submissions.

Coordinate document production by collecting, arranging, and tracking materials needed for legal matters.

Maintain attorney calendars, including court dates, deadlines, meetings, and other time-sensitive commitments.

Assist with electronic court filings and help ensure submissions are completed accurately and on time.

Use legal and business software such as iManage, Aderant, and Intapp to support matter management and administrative workflows.

Work closely with the labor and employment team while providing reliable onsite support Monday through Friday. Requirements - Prior experience in a Legal Assistant role supporting litigation matters.

Working knowledge of e-filing procedures and civil litigation processes.

Strong calendar management skills with the ability to track multiple attorney schedules.

Experience formatting legal documents with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Ability to manage document production tasks in a deadline-driven environment.

Comfortable learning and using legal software, including iManage, Aderant, and Intapp.

Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities.

Availability to work onsite in Raleigh, North Carolina on a permanent Monday through Friday schedule.
