Job Description

A client of Insight Global is seeking an experienced SBA Liquidation Specialist to manage SBA loans that have transitioned into liquidation, workout, bankruptcy, or other special asset situations. This individual will take ownership of a portfolio of distressed loans and drive resolution strategies from initial transfer through final disposition.

The SBA Liquidation Specialist will work closely with borrowers, attorneys, appraisers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to evaluate collateral, navigate bankruptcy proceedings, coordinate workouts, and ensure compliance with all SBA and internal servicing requirements. Success in this role requires strong decision-making skills, attention to detail, an understanding of SBA lending and liquidation practices, and the ability to proactively manage time sensitive deadlines.

Skills and Requirements

3+ years of experience in SBA liquidation, special assets, loan workouts, commercial collections, or distressed commercial lending.

Strong knowledge of collateral liquidation and asset disposition processes.

Experience working with borrower workout strategies and troubled loan resolutions.

Experience coordinating with attorneys on litigation, recovery, and bankruptcy matters.

Understanding of Chapter 7, Chapter 11, and Chapter 13 bankruptcy proceedings.

Direct SBA 7(a) liquidation experience.

Experience within a Special Assets, SBA Servicing, SBA Liquidation, or Workout department.

Familiarity with SBA Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and liquidation requirements.

Experience with foreclosure actions and collateral recovery.

Asset valuation and appraisal coordination experience.
