Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
6 years of experience in product marketing, brand management, political campaigns, strategy consulting, public affairs, or related fields.
Experience working cross-functionally with various teams to reach a goal.
Experience developing marketing plans for audiences.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience in public sector or public affairs marketing or political/advocacy campaigns.
Experience utilizing AI productivity tools to solve complex, multi-layered problems and streamline business or development workflows.
Passion for policy and technology.
Ability to lead and evaluate issues independently in a fast-paced environment.
Problem-solving skills with the ability to develop strategy, communications plans, creative campaigns, customer insights, and analyze campaign effectiveness/return on investment (ROI).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

As part of the Policy Campaigns Marketing you will help lead the marketing response and coordination across the biggest challenges facing the company. You will work closely with a cross-functional team to develop and deploy a marketing strategy to strengthen our engagements with policymakers and key groups in D.C. and beyond.
In this role, you will work with internal and external stakeholders to craft messaging and develop programs that engage key ally groups, consumers and key opinion formers alike. Through strategic scenario planning and the use of data-driven insights you will organize events, develop collateral, and build narratives to explain Google's position on emerging topics including at the national and state level. You're a consummate communicator who is at ease telling stories across a variety of mediums (video, blog posts, social, presentations, etc.) and are excited about working at the intersection of technology and policy. As a clever and out-of-the-box strategist, you will have creative ideas on how to talk to an audience in a non-traditional way. You will be skilled at managing multiple priorities, are nimble, can grow in ambiguity, and put an emphasis on tracking progress against defined goal.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
US: $141000 - $205000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities
Oversee strategic scenario planning to inform and improve our engagements and activations across policymakers, third party organizations and key user groups.
Develop and execute policy strategy that benefits Google users and our business in coordination with key partners
Work with cross-functional internal teams to organize events, develop collateral, and build narratives to explain Google's position on U.S. policy files
Create and manage a robust content calendar guided by internal and external policy timelines.
