Treasury Accountant

Job Description

Day-to-Day:

Perform daily cash tracking and cash reconciliations

Reconcile bank accounts and resolve discrepancies

Process monthly cash settlements and company payments

Support month-end close activities across assigned business entities

Maintain accurate financial records and documentation

Process commissions and other recurring accounting transactions

Manage a portfolio of assigned business units/accounts

Handle invoice processing and payment activities

Assist with accounting team initiatives and special projects as workload allows

Support process improvement efforts and technology adoption within the department

Job Description:

Insight Global is seeking a Treasury Accountant for a top automotive retail client. This individual will join a growing treasury and accounting organization supporting a portfolio of business entities through daily cash management, bank reconciliations, payment processing, and month-end accounting activities. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and eager to learn treasury operations in a structured environment. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with leadership, gain exposure to multiple areas of accounting and treasury, and contribute to process improvement initiatives as the organization continues to grow. The team is looking for someone who is comfortable juggling multiple priorities, embraces technology and innovation, and is seeking a long-term opportunity with strong growth potential

Skills and Requirements

1+ years of accounting, treasury, finance, bookkeeping, or related experience

Understanding of debits and credits

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and prioritize workload effectively

Reliable attendance and commitment to an onsite work environment

Professional demeanor with a strong work ethic

Experience performing reconciliations or working with financial transactions

Comfortable learning new systems, processes, and technology - Treasury accounting experience

Bank reconciliation experience

Month-end close experience

Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field

Experience supporting multiple entities, accounts, or business units

Strong interest in technology, automation, and process improvement
