As an Armed Security Officer at a hotel and resort location, you will help manage access control, verify credentials, monitor entry points, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. You will provide exceptional customer service while supporting a welcoming environment for residents, guests, and staff. Pay Rate: $22.71 / Hour

Tue01:00 AM - 09:00 AM

Wed01:00 AM - 09:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to residents, guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a hotel and resort-style residential location.

Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, maintain visitor and vendor logs, and communicate access concerns to appropriate site contacts.

Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.

Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, common areas, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.

Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and access-control activities, and maintain professional communication with residents, guests, and management.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess at least two years of security-related experience.

Possess a valid armed guard card or license.

A guard card or license is preferred.

Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
