Job Summary and Qualifications

What you will do in this role:

?Prepares patient for cardiac catheterization, monitors patient during cath, and assists patient during recovery.

?Observes patient and machine during procedure and reports unusual occurrences and records patient's condition.

?Maintains images and operates image vault and hemodynamic server.

?Observes proper radiation safety on all exams.

?Assists with cardiovascular data mining and submission.

?Prepares room, equipment, medicine and materials as needed for patients/procedures.

?Cleans and disinfects procedure room, pre op, and post procedure area and equipment.

?Follows department policies and protocols for safety in Cardiac Cath Lab.

What qualifications you will need:

Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

(RN) Registered Nurse

Associate Degree

At least 1 year of critical care experience required! ICU, ER, Cath Lab

Parkridge Medical Center is a 270+ bed hospital. We are near downtown Chattanooga. We feature comprehensive diagnostic, medical, and surgical services. These services include cardiovascular surgery and cancer treatment. These services include intensive care, orthopedic and spine surgery, and rehabilitation. The facility includes a state of the art neurosurgery program. Patients also have access to OB-GYN services. Patients have access to a level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. They also have access to (NICU) and behavioral health treatment centers for children and adults.
