Temporary seasonal position from 12/1/2026 to 2/28/2027
Assist with the annual seasonal livestock breeding/birthing process. Calve and wean calves during the calving and weaning seasons. Sort calves off of cows. Medicate, vaccinate and treat for seasonal sicknesses. Care for newborn calves and nursing mothers during the fall, winter and early spring months, when they require additional care due to subfreezing and fluctuating temperatures and seasonal sicknesses. Monitor pregnant cows, nursing mothers and newborn calves. Load, unload and move cattle. Snow removal. Feed cattle during heavy snow periods when no seasonal pasturelands remain available to naturally graze upon. Basic farm maintenance and shop work.
Drivers license in 30 days.
