As an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $21.01 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time

Fri02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Sat06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Sun06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors at an aerospace and defense-related location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and maintain required entry and visitor records in accordance with site procedures.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations and concerns to appropriate personnel.

Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and report security-related concerns.

Complete detailed activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

At least two years of security-related experience is required.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

A Guard Card or license is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
