As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Access Control in Ridley Park, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a leading aerospace and defense location, you will monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a professional environment. Pay Rate: $28.71 / Hour

Mon10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Thur10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Fri10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Sat10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Sun10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with appropriate site contacts and public emergency services as needed.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.

Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials, and report unusual conditions, policy violations, and security-related concerns in accordance with site procedures.

Maintain proficiency with assigned protective equipment and perform duties in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, and Allied Universal policies.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess at least two years of security-related experience.

Possess at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.

Possess an Act 235 qualification in Pennsylvania.

The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
