As a Security Officer Morning Retail Driver Patrol in San Diego, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points and alarms, and respond to security-related concerns. Mon06:00 AM - 02:30 PM

Tue06:00 AM - 02:30 PM

Fri06:00 AM - 02:30 PM

Sat06:00 AM - 02:30 PM

Sun06:00 AM - 02:30 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and property management personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at commercial real estate locations.

Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of building interiors, parking areas, loading docks, common areas, and property perimeters to help identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.

Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel and emergency responders when needed.

Support a professional, welcoming environment by providing directions, answering questions, and communicating observed security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

A guard card or license is preferred.

Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
