POSITION SUMMARY

Looking for dependable, hardworking Line Cooks to join our kitchen team. We are a busy, high-energy restaurant and entertainment venue specializing in smoked meats, scratch-made sides, burgers, sandwiches, wings, and Southern-inspired comfort food. We are looking for team members who enjoy working in a fast-paced kitchen, take pride in the food they prepare, and understand the importance of consistency, cleanliness, teamwork, and reliability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare and cook menu items according to Double D's recipes, portions, and presentation standards

Work assigned stations including grill, fryer, saut , and other line positions as needed

Prepare ingredients and complete station prep before and during service

Properly handle, portion, label, rotate, and store food

Maintain quality and consistency during both normal and high-volume service

Coordinate with other kitchen team members to ensure orders are completed accurately and on time

Follow food safety, sanitation, temperature-control, and proper food-handling procedures

Keep workstations, equipment, coolers, and kitchen areas clean and organized

Assist with opening and closing kitchen duties

Restock stations throughout the shift

Minimize food waste and follow proper portion-control procedures
