The Manufacturing Systems Integration Engineer serves as the technical expert for manufacturing business systems, supporting and optimizing applications that drive efficient plant operations. This role is responsible for system administration, integration, troubleshooting, database management, and continuous improvement of manufacturing technologies including MES, ERP, reporting platforms, and related business applications. The engineer partners closely with manufacturing, engineering, quality, and IT teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions that improve operational efficiency, data accuracy, and process visibility.
This role plays a critical part in connecting manufacturing systems and business processes, ensuring reliable data flow, system performance, and continuous improvement across operations while supporting digital transformation initiatives throughout the manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Administer, support, and optimize manufacturing systems, including MES, ERP, reporting, and related applications.
Develop and maintain integrations between manufacturing systems, databases, and third-party applications.
Create automation solutions using scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, and Python.
Manage relational databases, including Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MySQL, ensuring data integrity and performance.
Develop SQL queries, reports, and data solutions to support business operations.
Troubleshoot application, integration, and database issues while coordinating with software vendors and implementation partners.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvements and implement technology solutions.
Support business intelligence, analytics, system upgrades, migrations, and deployment initiatives.
Ensure alignment with cybersecurity standards, IT governance, and operational best practices.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
5+ years of experience supporting manufacturing business systems in a manufacturing environment.
Experience with MES, ERP, reporting platforms, and manufacturing application support.
Strong knowledge of relational databases and SQL development.
Experience with manufacturing systems integration and OT/IT environments.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer potential candidates. Provided is the national pay range for this position which is $92,000.00 to $142,000.00 per year. However, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 12% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $103,000.00 to $159,000.00.
