Job Title: Manufacturing Process EngineerJob Description

Join a dynamic team as a Manufacturing Process Engineer, where your expertise will be pivotal in designing and developing new processes or enhancing existing ones. In this role, you will leverage your problem-solving skills and structured methodologies to drive process improvements and ensure operational excellence.

Responsibilities

Design and develop new processes or improve existing processes.

Solve problems and improve processes using fundamental understanding and structured problem-solving methods such as KT, Designed Experimentation, or Six Sigma.

Implement Process Control and Process Discipline systems into manufacturing operations.

Analyze process data using statistical tools like pareto, regression, time charting, analysis of variance, and gauge R&R.

Measure and communicate performance against established objectives.

Review and interpret data to make recommendations on immediate actions, long-term corrective actions, and follow-up experiments.

Document processes and train operators and peers on defined processes.

Essential Skills

Minimum of BS in mechanical engineering, chemical, materials, or ceramic.

4-7 years of work experience.

Strong manufacturing process, manufacturing engineering, and process engineering skills.

Problem-solving mentality with a focus on process improvement and continuous improvement.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with equipment installations or commissioning.

Effective presentation skills.

Capability to lead small process development or improvement projects.

Innovation experience.

Process excellence with a Six Sigma Green Belt or higher.

Work Environment

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Marion, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $120000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
