Work you'll do

As a Delivery Senior Consultant - Software Engineer on the GPS HST Technology team, you will be responsible for:

Support Implementation and Operations Management best practices while taking ownership of tasks and/or project workstreams and guiding more junior professionals

Support and/or lead workstreams on engagements related, but not limited, to Systems Implementation, Operations & Maintenance, Helpdesk Operations and Software Application Development & Maintenance

Contribute to deliverables and review the work of others for quality and accuracy

Demonstrate an understanding of the client environment and overall project scope

Responsible for the client and team management including value creation activities

The team

Deloitte's Government and Public Services (GPS) practice is designed for impact. Serving federal, state, and local government clients, as well as public higher education institutions, the team brings experience in strategy, technology, and operations to help clients address complex mission challenges. Within this environment, GPS HST Technology professionals support programs that improve service delivery, operational effectiveness, and constituent outcomes.

Qualifications

7 + years of consulting and/or industry experience

Current state public assistance system experience that supports eligibility and benefits determination and case management

Experience supporting State client(s) in one or more of the following areas: eligibility determination, benefits calculation, benefits issuance, and/or information management

Bachelor's degree

Ability to travel 0 - 20%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

Limited immigration sponsorship may be available

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
