What You'll Do

The Sales Desk Manager plays a critical leadership role in driving dealership sales performance, profitability, and customer satisfaction. This position partners closely with Sales Consultants, Finance Managers, and dealership leadership to structure competitive deals, coach the sales team, and ensure every customer receives an outstanding experience.

Desk and structure vehicle transactions to maximize profitability while maintaining a customer-focused approach

Partner with Sales Consultants throughout the sales process to improve closing ratios and customer satisfaction

Review and approve pricing, trade valuations, lender programs, and payment options

Assist customers with vehicle selection, negotiations, and deal presentations when needed

Drive sales volume, gross profit, and customer retention objectives

Monitor showroom traffic, appointments, lead management, and CRM performance

Coach, train, and develop Sales Consultants through daily engagement and mentorship

Conduct sales meetings focused on accountability, process improvement, and results

Collaborate with Finance Managers to ensure smooth transactions and timely deliveries

Monitor inventory levels, aging units, and merchandising strategies

Resolve escalated customer concerns professionally and effectively

Support recruiting, onboarding, and developing top-performing sales talent

Maintain accurate sales forecasting, reporting, and operational compliance

What You'll Bring

3+ years of automotive sales leadership experience in a franchised dealership environment

Strong experience desking deals and driving dealership profitability

Proven ability to develop and motivate high-performing sales teams

Deep understanding of financing options, lender programs, and trade appraisals

Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills

Experience utilizing CRM, DMS, and desking software

Ability to analyze performance metrics and execute action plans

Customer-focused mindset with excellent problem-solving skills

Professional demeanor and strong business acumen

Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
