Description

We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to support a legal team handling business immigration matters in Dallas, Texas. This contract opportunity with potential for a permanent role is ideal for someone who thrives in a detail-driven, high-volume environment and enjoys keeping records, communications, and daily operations organized. The person in this role will help maintain case-related documentation, update client information, and provide dependable administrative support to ensure work moves forward efficiently on site.

Responsibilities:

Provide day-to-day administrative support to the legal team while following guidance from assigned staff leadership.

Build and maintain both digital and paper-based client records with a high degree of accuracy and organization.

Enter, review, and update client and case information in internal databases and computer-based tracking systems.

Prepare, sort, scan, copy, print, and file legal and administrative documents to support immigration case processing.

Monitor case progress, track key deadlines and expiration dates, and generate reports to assist with status oversight.

Draft routine written communications for clients and help manage outgoing correspondence.

Receive, organize, and distribute incoming mail according to established office procedures.

Take ownership of assigned independent administrative projects and complete them within expected timelines.

Requirements

Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree is required.

Ability and willingness to work on site in Dallas, Texas; this is not a remote position.

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proven ability to perform accurately in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment.

Strong organizational skills with close attention to detail.

Experience with administrative support, data entry, document handling, or legal/immigration-related office work is preferred, but not required.
