As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Operations in Washington, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a government courthouse location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for visitors and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. Pay Rate: $13.33 / Hour

Mon08:00 AM - 05:00 PM

Tue08:00 AM - 05:00 PM

Wed08:00 AM - 05:00 PM

Thur08:00 AM - 05:00 PM

Fri08:00 AM - 05:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, court personnel, attorneys, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.

Monitor access points and screen or direct visitors in accordance with courthouse policies, reporting prohibited items, unauthorized access attempts, or unusual activity to appropriate personnel.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.

Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout public areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.

Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and communicate observations, policy violations, and maintenance concerns to Allied Universal supervision and designated site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
