Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Security Officer for a State Site in Boston MA

Tuesday - Saturday 7 AM - 3 PM

Starting Pay is $23.00 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training

Candidate is Required to Have 1+ Years of Previous Security Experience

As a Security Officer in Boston, MA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a government transportation location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a welcoming environment through professionalism, integrity, and teamwork while representing Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture.

Tue07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

Wed07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

Thur07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

Fri07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

Sat07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government transportation location.

Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, parking areas, access points, roadways, and perimeter areas, reporting unusual conditions and maintenance concerns.

Monitor access to restricted areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization as directed, and maintain accurate visitor and incident documentation.

Respond to incidents, traffic-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and emergency responders as needed.

Help to deter unauthorized activity through a professional presence, observation of assigned areas, and timely reporting of suspicious behavior or conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
