Job Description

The primary objectives of the Sales Manager - US Market are to:

Act as a hunter , proactively identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities

Develop direct relationships with key customers, integrators, and strategic partners

Increase market penetration for Teledyne ICM and Teledyne Radicon products

Support distributors and key accounts with strong technical and commercial expertise

Represent the company professionally during on-site product demonstrations, trade shows, and technical meetings

This role is expected to have a direct and measurable impact on revenue growth in the US.

Key Responsibilities

Prospecting and opportunity identification across the US market

Management of the full sales cycle: lead generation, qualification, demonstration, quotation, negotiation, and closing

On-site technical product demonstrations (X-ray generators, detectors, imaging solutions)

Collaboration with engineering, R&D, and application teams to adapt solutions to customer needs

Market intelligence gathering (competition, pricing, trends, customer feedback)

Sales forecasting and pipeline management

Contribution to strategic market development plans for NDT and industrial inspection

Profile Requirements

Technical & Commercial Skills

Solid technical background (engineering or equivalent experience)

Proven ability to understand and explain complex technical products

Experience in non-destructive testing (NDT) or industrial inspection is a strong advantage

Demonstrated success in B2B sales of high-value technical solutions

Strong negotiation and closing skills

Personal Competencies

Hunter mindset with strong autonomy

Ability to work independently and manage priorities remotely

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Customer-oriented, results-driven, and resilient

Comfortable working in a performance-based compensation model

Division / Business Unit: Teledyne ICM & Teledyne Radicon

CBU: Industrial Imaging / NDT

The Sales Manager will work in close coordination with:

European headquarters

Product management and R&D teams

Application and after-sales support teams

Salary Range:

$120,300.00-$160,400.000

The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, local regulations (such as minimum wage), education/training, work experience, key skills, and @type of position.
