Our client, a leader in medical device innovation, is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their team. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be part of the Product Development Department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title:Electrical Engineer

Location: Batesville, IN (Hybrid 3days onsite)

Duration: 2 months with the possibility of extension/conversion

Pay Range:$60-$65/hr on W2

What's the Job?

Lead technical activities in product development for electronic end-of-life processes.

Develop solutions to routine technical problems related to current product designs.

Coordinate with suppliers and external resources to update and maintain existing product functionalities.

Collaborate with external contractors and Operations teams to enhance existing technology and drive product improvements.

Work within a team environment, providing clear feedback to supervisors and departments.

What's Needed?

Bachelor's Degree in engineering or technology, with a preference for Electrical Engineering.

Five to ten years of experience in design and/or development within a medical device company.

Experience with Medical Device design controls and supporting New Product Development.

Knowledge of FDA-21 CFR 820.30 and ISO 9001 sub clause 4.4 standards.

Understanding of IEC 60601-1 standards for medical electrical equipment.
