Basic Job Functions:

Properly follow company and OSHA safety procedures.2. Attend safety meetings and participate in safety program.3. General labor duties that may include but not limited to sweeping, shoveling and general clean-up of any area and/or equipment throughout the yard.4. Support line operation in repairs and other activities.5. Keep grounds clear of debris while maintaining safety standards.6. Perform daily inspections on sorting equipment reporting any defects or needed repairs to supervisor.7. Willingness to cross-train on small mobile equipment, learn other positions to assist teammates as needed.8. Other duties assigned by your supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications:

Ability to work in a fast-paced, non-stop environment2. Minimum of 1-year previous general labor in heavy manufacturing environments, preferably in the scrap metal or construction industries.3. Ability to understand and carry out written and oral instructions.4. Ability to work standing or walking for up to 12 hours per day.5. Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency- Mon-Fri 7:50am-4:15pm.6. Flexible working overtime, off-hours, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Preferences:

Experience with Skid Steer/Forklift preferred.
