Job Summary and Qualifications

At Henrico Doctors' Hospital, our Women's Services Community Instructor assists Women's Administration and Patient Navigation in identifying educational needs, appropriate programs and in-services for patients within our community. While planning and implementing a variety of classes for patients/programs as community needs arise, you will also evaluate educational programs through formal & informal mechanisms. We are an amazing, hardworking team who is looking for a phenomenal addition like you!

Based upon the educational evaluations, you will also recommend new courses or improvements based on feedback received

As an instructor, you will maintain appropriate certification and annual education requirements as well as utilize opportunities for personal and professional growth.

You will assist with miscellaneous community programs/projects

Maintaining accurate departmental records as related to educational programs is a daily requirement

What qualifications you will need:

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN) preferred

Current Registered Nurse license in Virginia or a compact license

Current BLS certification

Minimum of three years hospital clinical experience

Minimum of one year recent teaching experience in a hospital setting

Experience as a Labor and Delivery nurse and/or prepared childbirth instructor certification required
