Accountant - Frisco, TX
What You'll Do:
You'll support the financial health of the division by monitoring revenues and expenses, assisting with period-end close , preparing journal entries, maintaining account records, and delivering accurate financial reporting. You'll work across accounting and operational teams to identify discrepancies, support budgeting and inventory activities, and ensure financial information is accurate, timely, and complete.

In This Role, You'll:
Assist with month-end and other period-end close activities, including preparing and entering journal entries and usage reports
Monitor accounts, maintain accounting records, and prepare financial and statistical reports to support business decisions
Perform general accounting activities across areas such as general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other financial processes
Review revenues, expenses, and account activity for accuracy, researching discrepancies and irregularities for timely resolution
Communicate with internal and external customers regarding account status, inquiries, and outstanding items
Assist with physical inventory counts, reconciliations, and related accounting activities
Support the Divisional Operating Plan, budgeting activities, and other financial planning initiatives
Complete assigned accounting projects and responsibilities while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to established procedures and GAAP
What You'll Bring:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
3 to 6 years of related experience in general accounting functions
Working knowledge of GAAP, general ledger accounting, and related financial processes
Experience with accounting functions such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, budgeting, or inventory accounting
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications, along with experience using accounting or financial systems
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify discrepancies and drive issues toward resolution
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with a high degree of accuracy
Effective written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative, customer-focused approach
The Schedule & Setting:
Full-time position in a professional business environment
Regular collaboration with Accounting, Operations, and other internal business teams
Standard business hours, with flexibility as needed around period-end close and other critical deadlines
Responsibilities require managing multiple accounting priorities and assignments with limited supervision
May assist with physical inventory counts and related operational activities
May coordinate assignments or workload for clerical and support staff as needed

Maintaining strong organization and attention to detail across multiple assignments
Proactively identifying accounting discrepancies, irregularities, and opportunities for resolution
Managing projects and deadlines effectively while maintaining high quality standards

Collaborating effectively within Accounting and across departments

Pay & Benefits:
Pay Range (Base Pay): Commensurate with experience
Weekly Pay: Every Friday
Other Compensation: May include shift differentials, overtime pay, bonuses, or other incentive pay as applicable to the position and location
