Construction General Laborer
Location: Cave Creek, Scottsdale, and surrounding Phoenix Valley areas

About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Construction General Laborer to join our growing team. In this role, you will support concrete carpenters on active construction sites by assisting with site preparation, rebar installation, form setting, concrete pours, and finishing activities. Most projects involve high-end custom residential homes, with occasional commercial construction work.
This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in quality craftsmanship, and is looking for long-term career opportunities with a growing construction company.
Key Responsibilities
Assist concrete carpenters with all phases of concrete construction.
Perform site preparation, cleanup, layout assistance, and general labor duties.
Place and tie rebar and reinforcement materials prior to concrete pours.
Set, adjust, and remove concrete forms according to project specifications.
Support concrete pours by moving, leveling, and consolidating concrete.
Assist with concrete finishing, including slabs, flatwork, and paving.
Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and basic construction equipment.
Measure and mark materials using tape measures and other construction tools.
Perform heavy lifting and material handling of forms, rebar, tools, and construction materials.
Follow instructions from supervisors and skilled tradespeople to maintain productivity and safety.
Travel daily to assigned job sites throughout the Cave Creek and Scottsdale areas, with occasional work outside the valley.
Qualifications
Required
Minimum 5 years of construction labor experience .
Experience in residential or commercial concrete construction.
Hands-on experience with:
Concrete pours
Form setting and removal
Concrete finishing
Flatwork and paving
Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure.
Experience using common construction hand and power tools.
Ability to perform physically demanding work, including heavy lifting.
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel daily to job sites.
Preferred
Experience supporting concrete carpenters.
Experience in concrete formwork and reinforcement installation.
Experience working on custom residential homes or luxury home construction.
Exposure to commercial concrete projects.
Strong work ethic, adaptability, and commitment to safety.

Work Environment
This position works primarily outdoors on active construction sites. Job locations vary as projects are completed, with most work taking place in the Cave Creek and Scottsdale areas. The role requires physical labor, heavy lifting, operation of construction tools and equipment, and the ability to adapt to changing job site conditions. Employees typically report directly to the assigned job site each day.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Paradise Valley, AZ.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr.
