Job Summary
The Raytheon Financial Accounting organization has an opening for an Analyst, Accounting & Controllership. The position is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated financial analyst with strong analytical skills to gain valuable experience at the Business Unit Headquarters level. The selected team member will develop an understanding of Raytheon accounting structures and systems. The position will be responsible for general accounting support including journal entry preparation, balance sheet account reconciliations, and ad hoc analysis. Other areas of exposure include flux analysis, audit deliverables, and other accounting and financial-related activities.
What You Will Do
Prepare schedules for Financial Reporting and Tax
Ensuring compliance with key internal control procedure
Reviewing, preparing and posting manual journal entries requests
Assist with audit requests
Perform monthly, quarterly and annual flux analysis and reports
Analyzing Balance Sheet accounts and reconciliations
Participate in special projects and analysis
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field
Working experience with SAP and/or similar financial systems.
Working experience with MS Office tools including Excel
U.S. Citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.

Understanding of RTX financial and accounting policies and procedures
Experience interfacing and conducting business with various disciplines
Self-starter with the ability to take the initiative and ownership of assignments and desire to improve processes.
Self-guided, self-motivated, and highly organized and team player
Ability to explain balances, purpose of accounts and identify inconsistencies
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to prioritize effectively
Experience in DoD or Aerospace industry
Effective, pleasant, and business-like interpersonal skills

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
