The Resident Care Director (RCD) serves as the clinical leader for the community, overseeing health and wellness services while ensuring high-quality, compliant, resident-centered care. This role leads the nursing team, manages care programs and drives clinical excellence across the community.

What You'll Do:

Lead and manage resident health, wellness and care coordination

Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Service Plans (ISPs) and monitor outcomes

Oversee medication management and ensure safe clinical practices

Collaborate with physicians, pharmacy and care partners

Drive Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives

Ensure compliance with federal, state/provincial and nursing regulations

Serve as CLIA and Infection Control leader as applicable

Recruit, hire, train and performance manage clinical team members

Manage staffing, scheduling and department budget

Partner with Sales to assess move-in appropriateness

Pay Range:

81,640.00 - 108,992.00

In addition to base compensation, Sunrise may offer discretionary and/or non-discretionary bonuses. The eligibility to receive such a bonus will depend on the employee's position, plan/program offered by Sunrise at the time, and required performance pursuant to the plan/program.
