Job Title: Warehouse Associate Job Description
This role supports a small, climate-controlled warehouse by accurately handling a high volume of small parts such as fasteners, bolts, o-rings, hardware, and plastics. You will manage inventory using an ERP or MRP system, perform shipping and receiving activities, and ensure all products are correctly picked, packed, and prepared for shipment. This is a contract position through December with the potential to transition into a permanent role.
Responsibilities
Handle and organize a large variety of small parts, including fasteners, bolts, o-rings, hardware, and plastics, with a high level of attention to detail.
Allocate inventory accurately within bins and storage locations to maintain clear and organized stock.
Manage inventory using a computer-based ERP or MRP system, including entering, updating, and tracking data.
Perform receiving activities, including checking incoming shipments, verifying quantities and part numbers, and updating inventory records.
Pick orders accurately based on pick lists or system instructions, ensuring the correct parts and quantities are selected.
Pack products securely and efficiently to prepare orders for shipment, following established packaging standards.
Execute shipping tasks, including labeling, preparing documentation, and staging shipments for carriers.
Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies, shortages, or damage to maintain accurate stock records.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse area, including bins, shelving, and workstations.
Collaborate closely with a small warehouse team to meet daily operational goals and support overall workflow.
Essential Skills
2-5 years of warehouse experience, including hands-on work with inventory and order fulfillment.
Experience using a computer-based ERP or MRP system in a warehouse or inventory environment.
Proficiency in inventory management activities such as allocating stock, cycle counting, and maintaining accurate records.
Demonstrated experience in shipping and receiving, including checking, documenting, and processing orders.
Strong skills in picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently.
Good computer skills, including data entry and navigation of warehouse or inventory software.
Ability to work with a high volume of small parts while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience working in a small warehouse or team-based environment.
Previous exposure to climate-controlled warehouse operations.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and support multiple warehouse functions as needed.
Interest in a contract role with the potential to transition into a permanent position.

Work Environment
The role is based in a small, climate-controlled warehouse with only a few team members, creating a focused and collaborative setting. Typical hours are approximately 8:00 a.m. to 4:00/4:30 p.m., providing consistent daytime work. You will work around bins filled with small parts and use computer-based ERP or MRP systems and standard warehouse equipment to perform inventory, picking, packing, shipping, and receiving tasks. The setting emphasizes organization, cleanliness, and safe handling of materials.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
