Job Title: Warehouse Associate Job Description
This Warehouse Associate role supports the shipping department by handling materials, processing orders, and maintaining accurate inventory in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will work as part of a team while having your individual performance and contributions clearly tracked and recognized.
Responsibilities
Support daily shipping department operations by handling incoming and outgoing materials in a safe and efficient manner.
Use RF scanners to pick, receive, and process orders accurately according to established procedures.
Perform order picking and staging, ensuring the correct products and quantities are prepared for shipment.
Assist with receiving and returns by unloading, sorting, and organizing products and materials.
Maintain inventory control by accurately tracking product locations, movements, and counts.
Move pallets and materials within narrow aisles while remaining aware of other team members and equipment in the area.
Climb and work from 12-foot staircase ladders as needed to access products stored at height.
Follow all warehouse safety rules, including proper use of equipment and adherence to restricted electronics policies.
Work at a consistently fast walking pace throughout the shift to meet productivity and quality expectations.
Lift and carry up to 50 pounds independently for extended periods, supporting continuous warehouse operations.
Essential Skills
0-6 months of related warehouse or material handling experience.
Ability to walk at a fast pace for 8-12 hours per day on a consistent basis.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently for extended periods, potentially 8-12 hours per day.
Comfort working at heights, including using a 12-foot staircase ladder without fear of heights.
Experience with warehouse activities such as material handling, receiving, returns, shipping, and order picking.
Ability to use RF scanners for inventory control and order processing.
Capacity to work safely and efficiently in narrow aisles with other people and equipment present.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling inventory and orders.
Willingness to follow all safety policies, including restrictions on personal electronics in the warehouse.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Previous experience in a shipping department or similar warehouse environment.
Familiarity with inventory control processes and best practices.
Experience working around electric pallet jacks or other warehouse equipment operated by certified staff.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team while maintaining strong individual performance.
Reliability and consistency in meeting productivity and quality expectations in a fast-paced setting.

Work Environment
This role is based in a warehouse environment, primarily within the shipping department, where pallets of product and empty pallets are laid out on the floor with narrow aisles between them. You will work alongside several other team members and around electric pallet jacks operated by certified staff, requiring constant awareness of your surroundings. Shifts are physically demanding, with 8-12 hours of fast-paced walking and regular lifting of up to 50 pounds. The facility enforces a strict no-electronics policy, so cellphones, smart watches, and other personal electronic devices are not permitted in the warehouse. Appropriate footwear such as sneakers, boots, or steel-toe shoes is required to support safety and comfort throughout your shift.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Flower Mound, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
