Closing Agent

Morrilton Abstract Co. Morrilton, AR Full-Time \$30,000 to \$45,000 depending on experience

If you have ever sat at a closing table and thought you could run it better, we should talk.

Morrilton Abstract Co. is a five-person title company in Morrilton, and our closing business comes to us through the Realtors and lenders in this area. That makes our Closing Agent the public face of this company. It is a real job with real responsibility, and it comes with a normal Monday-through-Friday schedule and people who will back you up.

We would love title or escrow experience. We will also train the right person who brings accuracy, strong customer service, and a genuine willingness to learn. If you have experience in banking, mortgage lending, real estate, or a law office, you are closer to qualified than you think.

What you\'ll do

Prepare, proof, and assemble closing documents and ALTA settlement

statements

Reconcile the settlement statement to the lender\'s Closing

Disclosure and resolve differences before the closing table

Order and track loan payoffs, tax information, and everything else

needed to clear title

Schedule closings and keep Realtors, lenders, buyers, sellers, and

attorneys in the loop

Run in-person closings walk buyers and sellers through the

documents, get signatures, notarize

Collect, receipt, and disburse closing funds, including outgoing

wires and escrow trust entries

Build and keep strong relationships with the area Realtors and

lenders who send us our business

What we\'re looking for

High school diploma or equivalent

Strong communication, in person and on the phone, with a

professional and welcoming manner

Sharp organization you will run several files against competing

deadlines

Accurate data entry and working proficiency in Word, Outlook, and

Excel

Current Arkansas notary commission, or able to get one within 60

days we pay the costs

Employment is contingent on a satisfactory background check

Nice to have, not required

Prior experience in title, escrow, real estate, mortgage lending,

banking, or a legal office

What we offer

\$30,000 to \$45,000 annual salary depending on experience

Health insurance the company pays 90% of your premium

Paid time off for vacation and sick leave, plus paid holidays, paid

on-the-job training

Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
